Appointment Policy

Your appointments are very important to us as they are reserved specifically for you. We understand that personal things come up and adjustments may be necessary. No-shows and same-day cancellations disrupt the smooth functioning of the clinic, which is why we had to implement this policy. When last minute notices are given, you are preventing other clients from being able to come in at that time.

Please give 24 hours notice if you must reschedule. Missed sessions due to no-show or late cancellation will incur a $40 No-Show Fee due at the time of the next session.

No Show Fee: When an appointment is scheduled and you do not show up, your are automatically marked as a no-show in the calendar. At your next session, the $40 No-Show fee will be due.

*If you No-Show for your first appointment, you may lose scheduling priority for the future and have to be put on the wait list. You will be called when new space opens up again and the $40 No-Show fee will be due. This may take time as we have to keep sessions open for active patients.

Rescheduling: Please note clients tend to schedule in advance. Because of this, there is no guarantee of getting your first-choice appointment time on short notice.

Acupuncture done right takes time. We commit to our patients and expect the same commitment in return. After all, health is top priority in these times but we cannot help if you don’t show up 🙂

Addition to this policy from April 2022: It may be hard to believe, but occasionally we have experienced people taking an acupuncture session, not paying us, and having given a false address or name. Because of this, there can be no “rain checks” for new clients and payment must be due at the time of service.
