Emmanuel Moortgat LAc

Licensed Acupuncturist & (Board Certified) Diplomate of Acupuncture of the NCCAOM®

Emmanuel Moortgat LAc is from Picardy, France where in his early life he was a professional horse trainer, artist, restaurateur and dedicated personal student of health science. He holds a degree from France in Art and Design and a Master’s diploma of Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of CCM. In 1998 he moved to the United States and settled in St. Augustine, Florida where his late wife Debra Rene opened a successful clinic of acupuncture. In 2015, Emmanuel became the translator of the “MTC” (Médicine Traditionnelle Chinoise), an acupuncture text by Dr. Nguyen Van Nghi on classical methods. Emmanuel enjoys the outdoors, gardening, fixer-upper projects and cooking. He has a special interest in Oriental food therapy (Tao diet) and combines it with traditional French cooking.

Toni Brewer LAc

Licensed Acupuncturist & (Board Certified) Diplomate of Acupuncture of the NCCAOM®

Toni Brewer, LAc, is from Mobile, Alabama. She first became interested in acupuncture during a student exchange trip to Japan, where she also learned about herbal medicine and cupping. Her first career was as a medical assistant and certified phlebotomist for 10 years. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science (kinesiology) and a Master’s diploma of Acupuncture from Jung Tao School of CCM. Her life-long interest is in supporting health naturally.
